About me
My experience extends to over 10 years in international tech startups’ in-house legal support. For the last 7 years, I have been advising founders and CEOs as General Counsel and Head of the Legal Department.
I got my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Law back in 2010-2015 at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University (Ukraine), Prosecutors Training Institute. I started practicing pro bono in my third year at the University and focused on human rights protection cases at NGO. I drafted my first Partnership Agreement for tech startup founders when I was 22, and since then, being an IT lawyer has been my greatest passion.
During my career, I have developed a full-stack approach to legal services. I have been preparing startups for fundraising and representing them in negotiations for seven-figure investments. I conducted due diligence, structured multimillion M&A, and signed Term Sheets, SAFEs, and SPAs. I created corporate governance rules for Boards of Directors and advocated on behalf of startups at Shareholders' meetings.
I have issued over 7 million shares for founders in investment rounds and shaped IT businesses in multiple jurisdictions, with the most presence in the UAE, the UK, Poland, and Ukraine. I have prepared more than 5 tech companies for GDPR compliance and organized overseas transfers for 3 million user data entries.
My expertise includes creating legal functions for startups from scratch and managing teams of legal professionals. While being the only lawyer at the early stage of business, I have been developing legal frameworks for SaaS sales contracts, employment, ESOP, trademark registration, and did not hesitate to help founders with their private legal matters.
My background allows me to speak the same language as the founders and understand their goals. My main priority is to get things done and help founders navigate the unpredictable and uncertain business environment.
